Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data the CodeRoasters Labs website collects, why, and the rights you have over it. We collect the minimum needed to answer you.
Data we collect
When you write to us through the contact form we receive the details you type: your name, email address, company if you provide it, the topic and your message. When you use the project guide on the Start page, your answers stay in your browser until you decide to send them to us.
The site itself does not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies or social plug-ins. Hosting logs may record technical data such as IP address, browser and pages requested, as is standard for any website, and are kept only as long as the hosting provider retains them.
Why we use it
To reply to your message and, if you wish, to prepare a proposal. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for marketing you have not asked for.
Who processes it
Messages sent through the form are delivered to us by the form-delivery service configured on this site and by our email provider, which act as processors on our behalf. This website is served by GitHub Pages. Each of these providers publishes its own privacy terms.
How long we keep it
We keep contact messages for as long as the conversation or the resulting project requires, and then for the period needed to meet legal or accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete them earlier.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to its use, through the contact form on this website. We will answer within a reasonable time and never later than required by applicable law.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS and we limit access to the messages we receive to the people who need to answer them.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top indicates the current version.
